Is it safe? A couple years ago folks were complaining about delays at customs or some other irregular delivery problems. All that cleared up?

I've never had a problem with mine. Arrives every month, on time.

I have a subscription with them – got some good Battlefront terrain thrown in on the deal – and the first year was great. Every issue before the local hobby shop (who started carrying them after I got the sub) and it came in great shape.

My second year – in fact, starting exactly at the 13th issue – they stopped coming. I actually forgot about it until one day I noticed a cover in the hobby shop that I did not have. I double-checked and sure enough, I was missing two issues. I emailed WI and got BF customer support. Turns out something went wrong in the old database. They sent my two issues promptly.

Problem was, the next issue ended up missing too. I sent another email to WI/BF and they said it went out according to their database, and I should check with my local carrier. They are sending another issue, but #300 (a whopper of an issue) showed up first. Still waiting for #299.

Personally, I really like the magazine. This little mess-up is not deterring me, as long as it does not become a regular thing. Given that I got issue #300, it probably won't be.

Have had my subs thru On Military Matters for years now and never had a problem.

Never a problem with my sub through OMM.

Mine typically arrives about 7-10 days after I see it in my local store. But it always gets here.

I haven't had problems AND they restarted the practice of putting Subscription Ends XXX on the label.

I was still having problems with them as of last fall, when I gave up.

I'd subscribed in the winter of 2010, during their Vietnam promotion (wanted some of the Osprey books), got three different e-mails asking me what I wanted as my gift option, and answered three times. Four months later there was still no sign of anything (gifts or subs), sent e-mails off to the original e-mailers, as well as another address found on the website. The latter got a result, and I was promised my sub would be extended a couple of issues for my time.

Then it went well, for 10 issues. The 11th never showed up and I didn't know anything was amiss until the 12th showed up and said my sub was ending. I got in touch again, was told the missing issue would be sent, as well as the bonus two (told it was a database problem as well). They never arrived, asked again, was told they'd been sent but would be sent again, but they also never arrived. That was the end of the relationship.

Had some problem with mine at the begining of my subscription, but since then they have been showing up on or about the 24th of the month. Really wish they would go digital though. Since getting a "Nook" I have really become more of a fan of digital magazines.

Gee Chris. I am thinking that I might have to go to the shop and grab issue #299 before they run out. This "re-send" seems to be taking longer than the last one.

I agree with the idea of a digital subscription. I have iBook, Kindle, and PDF versions and I like them just fine.
