I've just decided on the Carlist Wars as my 'winter project' and will be using the beautiful range from the Perry's. However, I have a couple of boxes of their plastic Napoleonic French infantry that I don't need and have been thinking of using them to get me started, as they appear to be wearing similar uniforms as the Isabellinos. Anyone able to comment on their suitability please? Thanks |

I use the ones in great coats, the only difference is the bayonet scabbard is on the wrong side. |

Yoy can use the elites in greatcoats without much trouble, but the fusiliers are missing the second crossbelt and all types have too short a set of coat tails and will need converted to a single breasted jacket. |

Thanks for the info guys. I realized the single breasted jacket was an issue when looking at the Perry website but I'm happy to use the French in greatcoats just to get the Isabelinos off the ground. I'm thinking of using BP and wondered what others' experience was with the rules? |
