As Crisis slowly draws nearer (it's a bit like waiting for Christmas as a kid.. it seems to take forever to get here!!!) can I register a plea for a slightly better map of how to get there?.. I am having some trouble working out exactly where it is… call it addled brain syndrome!

And then.. most importantly.. will there be hot-dogs and sauerkraut anywhere near??? One of the high spots of the old venue was the hot-dog stand just off to one side of the building!!!!

Crisis without a sauerkraut hot dog would not be Crisis!!!

There will be a hot-dog stand inside the main venue as well as sandwiches, hamburgers and bratwurst.

The new location is not very far from the old one. I assume you know how to get to Metropolis, you can follow this map :

Another option is to follow the Noorderlaan towards Antwerp city, then take the Londenstraat and Amsterdamstraat until you are right up to the river, look to your right and you'll see several large harbour cranes and a large sign Hangar 29 and our faithful yellow and black Crisis banners. Parking entrance is right next to Hangar 27.

The entrance to the extensive parking is to the left of the building, don't try to drive close to the venue as there is a large floodwall that is impassable except for bipedal mecha and heavy tracked vehicles.

We will also add maps and directions at the Metropolis venue for those who aren't aware we have changed locations.

I have been going to Crisis for a few years now and I was planning to go again this time. I usually get the train from Brussels to Antwerps Central Station and the bus from there to Metropolis, but this year there does not seem to be any information on the website about how to get to the new venue by public transport. Is there any or will I have to get a taxi from the station? Any help would be much appreciated.

Bus 17 goes from the Central Station to the Rijnkaai. Right across the street from Hangar 29.

Bus 34 stops in the Oude Leeuwenrui which is five minutes walking from the venue.

Closest tram is Tram 7, which stops in the Sint Pietersvliet and is maybe ten minutes.

As the venue is the last major building on the city side of the Scheldt river, once you get there, keep it to your left until you come to Hangar 29, just past the former.

The Hangar is near the MAS, a famous new museum in what is now the Marina of Antwerp.

Hey Patrick,
als we jou niet hadden was er niemand die de weg vond naar Crisis dit jaar ;-)

Bus 17 leaves Central Station every 15 minutes.

For the Saturday timetable, check page 17.
