Beautifully turned out horses PBI allows cavalry to fire mounted but without going into detail about how high in – or on – the saddle they are! Great find, Arteis

In the second photo, the horse is thinking "Yeah, all I have to do is buck once and you're history. And don't even THINK of firing a Panzerfaust

Yeah, lots of rules allow for firing while mounted. |

Once had a horse that I could ride by standing on the saddle at a gentle trot – I wasn't trying to shoot anyone though, just searching for cattle! And more importantly, no-one was shooting at me! Great find on the photos. |

Does anybody remember the scenes from "Battle of Neretva" where partisans are hip firing mg-42s on horseback? |

P would like to see them actualy firing like that, rather than just posing for the camera. Also I wonder about how much effort is going into staying in position and how much is left to aim wiuth. Still, great find on the pictures. owen
