I'm not sure if any of the participants will ever see this, but if so, I would like to express what a fantastic job was done by all. Your efforts were able to instill in my 11 year old the importance of this time period better than I've been able to these past six or so years and taught him an appreciation for this generation I never could have. He and I had a fantastic time, and he is now pouring through the WWII books I've collected over the years with a ravenous interest, the importance has passed down one more generation in my family at least! A thank you too all that attended, and a greater thank you to all that served
. Kind Regards Anthon I apologize if I cross posted wrong

Anthon, You're welcome. Passing along a bit of our own passion for history is a huge part of the reason that many of us reenact, and I am delighted that the event has sparked an interest in your son. Thank you for attending and bringing him out. I have not seen solid numbers yet, but the rumors around camp are that we have around 1400 reenactors this year. Michael Pennock |
