I've been painting miniatures from Khurusan and Rebel miniatures to serve as planetary defense force troops.

Very nice. Can't wait to see them in action.

Thanks Mark! Inspired by US Army 1980's patterns using on the M1.

Well. You are in luck. I really need to start playtesting the scenarios in the campaign guide. Some of which will end up on the tables at convetions in 2013. Let me know a good time for you and we'll push them around the table.

Where did you get the "gadling"?

You blog was well done and informative. Except i can't find info on that huge Battle-Power Armor you call Gadling.

They look good.

No problem. The "Gadling" is nothing more than the old Mongoose Publishing "Grizzly" Exo-suit. You can find them here with an updated appearance for Judge Dredd;

I already had a set of Grizzlies and Cougars from my Starship Trooper days. They were press-ganged into service for my Traveller game. Still have a few more to assemble and paint. For the 'typical' sized game I expect 6 of each is more than enough (we're talking about employing a tank company at this point!)

Sounds good, I'll let you know.

"Dust Tactics", which had great mini's, but seems now the game has pretty well gone the way of the Do-do.

A TMP member made a great comment;
"This game (Dust Tactics) should have been done in 15mm".
Agreed.

I had some of the same issues w/ using armor in WL's 28mm BA that others mentioned regarding 'DA'.
Their size/scale makes it allmost pointless to even move.

Does anyone Know of another Company that makes 15MM Sci Fi (Dust Tactics – SW) style combat walkers? 2 – multi legged transports?

Uh, what are you talking about? DUST is still around and going strong dustgame.com

The new rule book is called DUST 1947 and the minis are still awesome – glad they're only available in 1/48 scale. Making them in 15mm would be a total waste

@Part time gamer: try Dream Pod 9's Gear Krieg range: link

@Lion,
thanks for the link. Some 'really' great stuff there. Also I was not aware that Heavy Gear had begun doing their armies in plasitc as well.
