The Bavarian corps at Hanau had 10 btns of line/light plus 6 btns of National guard. Does anyone make suitable figures in 28mm for Bavarian National Guard? |

Histofig has a description: link Rawkins says they were raised as the Mobile Legion and were short of uniforms and thus wore greatcoats with the shako. In August 1813 they were reorganized into the National Feldbatallions and received new uniforms. He has drawings of the National Feldbns. in Austrian style uniforms with short gaiters, twin shoulder belts for ammo pouch and bayonet and Austrian style shako. NCOs same with sabre. Officers in single breasted coat with no epaulettes. Sword and boots. No sash. Not sure if the Rawkins booklet is available on the net anymore. Cliff Edit – just found this link to a previous discussion: TMP link Also the Peter Bunde plate #102 is partly on the Nat.Felbns. – shows all ranks uniforms including drummer and a flag. link |

Many thanks for this. I had found some previous TMP links and link for the militia but I missed the last two. |
