Hi Guys
Does anyone have any pictures of OLD GLORY 28mm Marlborough range miniatures painted? I'm particularly interested in the Cavalry and Artillery as I have all the infantry I need.
I'm interested to see if the will mix with the EBOR miniatures.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Scott

Old Glory are not 28s; they're true 25s.

The cuirassier unit with the red flag is OG WSS; the other units are either Front Rank and/or Foundry.

Old Glory are certainly NOT true 25mm. Ral Partha were true 25mm.

Thanks,

John

Fine. They're 25s.

They should mix..in my opinion they are more 25mm in size as one would imagine 25mm size to be….they aren't heroic 28mm bur rather heroic 25mm

If you are talking about OG in general they are easily 28mm-30mm. I just measured a few. If you are talking about the Marlborough range in particular I don't have mine in front of me to say for certain.

Thanks,

John

I've got about 6 units of 16 figs each. They look very nice. Not sure if I have the funds to extend to purchasing the Cavalry. They are reasonably priced, but OG at 40% off are also very tempting.
I'll post photos once I've painted some of them.

Old Glory should work well, and as you say price may well be a serious consideration when one's projects outstrips ones wallet.. just use araldite to attach their arms

I have some. They are typical of OG's scale, not true 25's.

I will get a shot up of some afternoon, if none materialize sooner.

The arty mixes well with Wargames Factory. The fellow in hte shot below with two hands on the wheel is a WF figure, the rest OG

I dispute that Old Glory is Old School. Old Glory, specifically, put the nail in the coffin of old school.

Just an FYI, I really like the cav and limbers, but the artillerist and infantry have some minor issues. What I mean is that the poses have the feet one in front of another, which causes a lot of feet/ankle breaks.

Waco Joe, nice artillery. Can I ask, who produced the cannons?
Many thanks,
Simon
