Wanting to build a diorama and haven't really done one properly before. The diorama is going to be a scene from 'Pirates of Penzance' and consist of a raised wall section at one end and a gentle sloped grass area. The total number of figures on the diorama will be around 20 and I think a reasonable base size will be around A4 paper sized. Can anyone point me in the direction of some basic tutorials on making the 'box' and base to go around the diorama? I know this probably sounds like the most basic of stuff, but need to start somewhere. Thanks, Iain |

Like a lot of people, I learned how to make dioramas from Shep erd Paine's book. There are also some decent tutorials out on the web. Googling "how to make a diorama" got, for example, this one: link and link and link Doug |
