.. (Trans-Syldavia is my 19th century Imagi-Nation, but I hope 18th century buffs enjoy the tale too) |

Slowly, the Hungarian aspect of the 1848 revolutions are becoming as well documented as the other theaters of conflict. A VERY good report and pics, freecloud! By the way, I may want to contact you with some specific questions I have, please. |

I think the whole 1848 movement needs looking at in more detail, whether Hungary or elsewhere, it gives a lot of big skirmish/small battle scenarios @Saginaw can't see where to PM you on TMP, do you have an email addy? |

What is a winning-draw? I may need to use this next time I play. |

"What is a winning-draw? I may need to use this next time I play" When the difference of losses is not that great, typically less than 10% (however you calculate it) and the result is not decisive. In this case its a campaign game, so we play it that a lot of routers etc return if not pursued. Although the Humgarians held the field on the day, their cavalry was routed or scattered, much of their foot was shaken, so they could not pursue – thus Trans-Syldavian losses from routed units were much lighter than they could have been
.and they live to fight again. |
