New game piece. 1/72nd by Airfix. Model kit a bit rough. Good decals.

Nice. I like the Polish markings. Will you be using it to represent a Polish People's Air Force fighter?

Is the kit from a East European company? I have found that many Eastern European models are tough to put together. Glad you had a good experience with decals, along the lines above, I've had decals fall apart with the slightest application of water.

The kits were never so bad as some good painting could cover up and picked up decal sheets at local hobby store.

The Yak looks great. I like the red trim on the cockpit. Good touch.

Nice model. The North Koreans used several during the initial phases of the Korean War.

Optional, I was looking to add more eastern front aircraft to my collection and wasn't aware that the "White 86" flown by O. Mateev of the Warszawa Regiment was Polish. I'll have too research this new subject. Thanks

Oddball, I assumed the Airfix kit was english but I checked the box print; "Made in India"

Saginaw, Glad my Dad's transport did not encounter them over Korea that first year! Though he WAS wearing a parachute on both combat jumps with the 187th RCT, Rakkasan.
