Dumnonia is highly defensible all the rivers run Nth-Sth or vice versa do they are barriers to an enemy advance rather than entrance routes and with the bastion of Cornwall behind you there is always somewhere to retreat too. Against it is the problem that the best agricultural land is in the East and thus the first to fall. |
