Some friends in my LEGO club (www.niltc.org) have played it and really enjoyed it. I think it took them about 2-3 hours per game. Brickwars is a humorously written rulset that I found only moderately enjoyable to play. The rules seemed to be unnecessarily clunky. For a great fnatasy game with LEGO, I recommend Song of Blades and Heroes. Batrep here: link |

While not technically a lego game, a lot of people use them for buildings with giant monster rampage. (you could probably make the monsters out of lego as well, if you wanted) Monster island is an option as well. (they're both good, it's really a matter of taste) |

My son made a creditable HOTT Star Wars army out of Lego; it won 'best army'. |

Sounds like these guys want to publish a real rulebook, and did I hear something about kits? How is this possible unless LEGO is involved with the project? In any case, I will be watching this closely-- could be the ultimate gateway drug into wargaming for 10 year olds

Play Brikwars, I did it once, it was fun, you can use any figures, I had gun weilding Batmans vs. Kranxxes vs. Construction workers with shotguns. |

I took a long look at 'Brikwars' and found it to be needlessly complex
this is LEGOs after all, and not a 'serious' (cough cough) project like my other little soldiers
IMHO Lego rules should be easy enough for a 10 year old to grasp in a few minutes
To each his own here, of course. Any news on the above vision, however? Seems not. |

@Bill Treu, but I take out lots of the stuff. |
