I have been discussing and experimenting with changes to the Commands & Colors movement system over on my blog in order to allow my units to move my brigade rather than by battalion. So far so good.

Here are a few gratuitous figure shots taken from the latest battle. All figures are by Baccus 6mm, buildings by Time Cast, all other terrain is scratch built by yours truly as is all of the brushwork. The terrain hexes are a work in progress and are based upon mdf laser cut hexes as supplied by East Riding Miniatures who cut these to my specific size of 95mm at no extra cost – great service.

Hope you enjoy the pics,
Cheers,
Lee.

Thank you chaps :-)

Paul S – I'm currently making up more terrain hex tiles of different types of fields, broken ground etc so I'll add a step by step guide once completed with the different textures listed etc. My hope is that more square fields etc will help to offset the hex grid a little.

Cheers,
lee.

I just added a post on how I make my terrain hexes over on my blog. Might be of interest to some here possibly?
