Ive never heard of this, they dont seem to publicise it anywhere (although just seen their entry on here ). Has anyone ever been? Is it worth a visit?

It would be nice if it works – Anglia has been a bit neglected for shows as far as I can work out.

We [Pike & Shot Society] went last year
Parking was easy – it's right next door to the venue
Good coffee shop next door to the venue
Not a huge show last year – but certainly enough to keep the interest for half a day at least – i.e. it's not on the scale of Partizan, Colours, SELWG or Salute …!!
I'm coming up from South Suffolk [Sudbury] & some of the society are coming up from South West London – so we think it's worth attending
Some very nice looking games last year [ACW & the tube skirmish caught my eye – probably others but my memory is not so good these days :-)]
And a fair mix of traders
So personally – as it's almost on your doorstep I'd say it's worth a look certainly
And the more of us that support it the bigger it'll grow :-)

Not one I have heard of. A little too far from me to make it worth the trip personally. But it is surprising how many shows we have each year across the country and many of which are not that well promoted. I guess the local's as such know it is there.

And yes the more people pass the word, the better it can only be for a show. Hope it is a good one.

I went by accident several years ago. Wife and I went to the castle and there were wargames tables set up. No publicity that I saw before or around the area. Had a chat with a nice guy and then went and had my photo taken in a high backed chair with a silly thing on my head. No change there, then.

It was halfway through October I think.

Norwich Cathedral and castle well worth the visit as is the "9th Foot's" museum adjoining said castle.

Might want to check the "Opening Hours" heading into the Off Season shortly.
