We had a really bizarre D&D Wrath of Ashardalon experience last time we played. Not only did we almost get wiped out near the entrance by a ridiculous amount of bad luck and crazy traps, but the circumstances and events just led to this endless dungeon where the chamber tile that we were after totally eluded us as we were forced to draw an equal amount of tiles from the bottom as we did from the top of the tile deck. At one point it looked as if we would draw the end location by going from the bottom…

Great write up. My family and I love that game, really the whole series. We had something like the trap entrance happen to us. In our case the entrance event cards spawned monsters that added new location tiles from the bottom of the deck which then added monsters that spawned more location tiles (and more monsters). I think we went thru the whole monster deck before we left the first few rooms.

Yeah sometimes things just go insane with those "sentry" monsters.
