WOW! I remember following the preservation of the Vasa in such publications as "The National Geographic" etc. when I was a kid. Would never have known about this recent turn of events without your finding and posting this

Me too. I recall the illustrations of the ship sinking. They really caught my attention. Everything is doomed. But we can try and delay the inevitable as long as possible. May the preservationists succeed in keeping "their baby" viable for generations to come!
