Hi Guys.
A new range of 15mm AWI miniatures is off to the casters! It is going to be very extensive, and below are a few samples. The size is typical 15mm.
They will be manufactured by a new company – B & D Miniatures, and they will post an announcement when the figures are available (very soon). They are setting up their website at the moment.

Hurrah! Brilliant, I've kept a keen eye on these.

Microbiggie30 Aug 2012 12:32 p.m. PST

I'd love to see some mounted militia figures, especially since they were so numerous in the Southern campaign. PP makes one pack of 3 but if you do nay skirmish scale gaming you need dozens. And variety is whats needed in militia units.
These do look nice.

Not my scale but they do look really nice.

ancientsgamer30 Aug 2012 1:45 p.m. PST

Wow! Keep us posted as I am a definite customer :-)

sapparlord30 Aug 2012 5:41 p.m. PST

historygamer30 Aug 2012 5:58 p.m. PST

What other figures do they scale with?

Ironwolf30 Aug 2012 6:31 p.m. PST

I like the different officer poses. I can never have enough 15mm AWI.

Rudysnelson30 Aug 2012 7:42 p.m. PST

Impressive!
Glad it is an American company.
No import problems.

Jeigheff30 Aug 2012 7:48 p.m. PST

Again . . . please keep us posted!

Historygamer – they are 15mm to the eyes, so should be compatible with most, other than the larger 18mm Bluemoon for example.

Very nice! Hope they are up for sale soon as I could use a couple more regiments. Not too sure about the usefulness of the kneeling figures though (although I love the non firing pose – any chance of making a Hessian Jager like that?_

sapparlord09 Sep 2012 9:54 a.m. PST

can do hessian jagers are on the up and coming thankes for your in put

Will be watching…though how I can justify more figures for this period…?

Pioneers. How about character packs? Specific folk, like the politicians and such? I know, a bit of an odd request. But not to ask…

Something to consider that nobody else has done (though Alan Perry has promised them in 28mm) is mounted civilians – very useful as militia colonels, messengers, sightseers, local guides, spies etc.

PVT64111 Sep 2012 8:45 a.m. PST

Like to see French

Master molds are done, and the miniatures will be be churning out very soon now!

There's going to be lots of stuff. Definitely personalities, civilians, Hessians, French, Spanish, etc.

A bunch of militia are being done right now, and there will certainly be mounted types.
All suggestions welcome!

The figs look good so far!

How about comparison shots with some of the other brands (Peter Pig, Freikorp, Minifigs)?

Also, how about a link to the web site (or my apologies if I missed it!)

Thanks for sharing!

The website will be up and running imminently!

B & D would like to thank all of you for your positive comments to our newest line. We are currently working on our website and getting together new pics to show. Thank you for your patience as we get things ready to go live.

sapperlord

Can you tell us how the figures will be sold, ie in packs (of how many?) or as singles. Also will you have a UK vendor or are all sales direct to you in the US?

Have you now got a price structure in place?

Iowa Grognard23 Sep 2012 2:12 a.m. PST

A few years ago I couldn't find a 15mm line I liked.

Now there is PP, Blue Moon and these guys… I'd still possibly switch scales if I could.

Gecoren24 Sep 2012 7:25 a.m. PST

Do you guys have contact details?

Guy

historygamer27 Sep 2012 5:58 p.m. PST

Watch your hat size guys, they are bordering close to bicornes, not cocked hats. That is something the OG figures suffered from. I find that some of the Peter Pig look a bit too triconrish for my taste, though I love (and have) many of their other figures.

sapparlord29 Sep 2012 12:34 p.m. PST

yes gecoren it is 52 blaine av hatfield pa phone is 215-237-2994 also are prices will be out monday just so you guys know

urbinoprince222 Oct 2012 8:20 p.m. PST

Lovely figures, but the muskets and swords are too large and they would extend over the base. Nonetheless, I look foward to seeing this range.

Ironwolf04 Nov 2012 8:53 p.m. PST

Any update on the webpage coming alive??? Thanky

Timmo uk09 Nov 2012 2:37 p.m. PST
