I've been playing around with wool roving lately: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roving

It's pretty nice material for smoke and flame, but I can't get anything to stick to it. Any tips for gluing this stuff down?

UHU should work fine.

Gonk,
I can't help you abit ontheglue as I have never worked with wool roving, or even heard of it before you post.

However, it would be great to see you finished product and any tips for painting and working with it.

Good luck with it.
Tom

Steel wool, perhaps?

Here's what I used it for most recently-- two firestarters for Tusk I converted, painted by my son. Right now, it's essentially using the dried paint to hold it in place. I haven't sealed it yet, though. I imagine that will help.
