Hi, All!

Gutted some cheap toys today to start constructing steam powered helicopters (Hydrothermicopters)

I want a flunk now, dammit!

What about a flunk with a hydrothermicopter landing platform on it's back?

mattblackgod27 Aug 2012 6:58 a.m. PST

Now thats an idea Norman D Landings!

Great stuff, very inspirational.

cybrt5431 Aug 2012 1:53 p.m. PST

More work on the hydrothermicopters very soon – but probably not a landing pad…

rborges04 Sep 2012 12:29 p.m. PST

I really want more of the Helicopters. I can't wait to see what you will do with it.

Norman D Landings04 Sep 2012 1:54 p.m. PST

I asked the internet about flunk-mounted hydrothermicopter landing pads, and this is what it said:

Bravo Sir! Fine bit of work

J Womack 9426 Jan 2013 11:56 a.m. PST

You see what happens when I duck out of an online presence for a few months because some silly college courses have me all tied up? I miss a lot of the Colonel's amazing works.

sasoriuk06 Feb 2013 7:30 a.m. PST

Can you tell me what minis you used for the crew of these?

Colonel O Truth06 Feb 2013 2:25 p.m. PST

Hi!

Yes – the minis are plastic British Line Infantry from Warlord Games, slightly modified.

cooey2ph07 Feb 2013 3:26 a.m. PST

Well done! These look very cool.

surdu200507 Feb 2013 3:48 a.m. PST

Outstanding work!

Hopefully they won't fail their Save and crash in their first game as most of my new contraptions tend to do. :)

At least that's SOME action. We've a fellow that will regularly fail sustains of land ironclads, and the stats are quite generous at that. Natch, his whines are more amusing to us than he.

On the other hand, he's a lad that is warned regularly 'don't touch my dice, don't want 'em ruined!'

He also had been known to gather up his own dice, walk to the front door of the store, and pitch them into the park across the street. ;->=

Colonel, hadn't seen the lads just yet. If that beast DOES fall, I think the pilot has to roll again decapitation…

Still say the skids are the most inspiring of all!

Still have to finish the second Hydrothermicopter – I've been dithering about figuring whether/how to make it different…

… and been a tad busy with other projects…

Sadly, while GASLIGHT is my preferred system, games seem very few and far between these days. Oh well. At least by the time I get the chance, I'll have an immense array of equipment to choose from.

Hmmm… Buck – Should I be rather afraid of the consequences of taking the field with an entire army of new gadgets?
