They look great. I'm reading the books and against my wife's advice, I have gone past season 2 of the HNO series and really I just want to stomp stomp on your Lannisters! grin That's meant to be a compliment (and I of course would never do it) because your work looks really good. I especially love your basing.

That looks really cool. How are you going to do characters? Included in units or as stand alone stands?

Very nice, again the basing is really good.

Liking this project a lot! What rules do you plan to use?

I'm exploring the the wacky/over-ambitious idea of gaming in Westeros using a mix of rules to play an all-vs-all campaign(using the mechanics from Dux Britanniarum)comprised of raids in 28mm (using Saga) and big battles in 10mm (using Warmaster conversion) drawing upon the work/idea of these clever people:

Thanks guys,

Doing this in 10mm was my first option, but I had lots of 6mm War of the Roses stuff just sitting around, and once I painted the first unit really quickly I new I would be able to finish it in good time.

So far I have 22 units of Lannisters completed, I painted a further 8 units this week (but not based) so I'll be at 30 units by the end of the week, plus I just primed the first 18 Stark units (all Viking/Saxon looking).

The rules I am thinking about right now are Legio VIII from the Free wargaming rules website. I have modified them quite a bit to give them a Westeros flavor and have added Characters and given them special abilities (not all them good). I'm going to play test them this Long weekend, and if they work out and I'm able to paint the 18 Stark units by next week, I'll post a battle report for everyone.
