So, for vehicles, what toy or clix ranges out there scale well with 15mm? I'm looking at the Halo Micro-Ops. Anything else out there for vehicles? |

Check out Matchbox diecast. Two that I think are good are the S.W.A.T.Truck and the Blizzard Buster. There are also the Buffalo Protected Vehicle and Oshkosh Hemmtt44 for larger vehicles. |

Halo stuff doesn't really work for 15mm. At least the Warthog doesn't. Tons of Matchbox stuff does work though. Check out the Real Working Rigs line for bigger trucks and even a tank. There's also a couple Hot Wheels that work. The toy alise is a wonderful place for 15mm stuff. Check out the action figures for dropships. Part of the reason I like 15mm is the amount of toys that can be converted. |

I would add the Johnny Lightning/Tomy brad that you can find at Walmart. Walmart has a couple of other off brands that have some decent vehicles too (modern cars, trucks, emergency vehicles). Halo Micro-Ops are a mixed size, alien vehicles and vtol are fine imo. Heroclix is supposedly coming out with vehicles, not sure about the scale. |

I really like the Matchbox ARV (Armoured Response Vehicle). I've repainted a couple of these and made some conversions to another and they're perfect for 15mm, and great little vehicles that can be used for lots of purposes. Pictures on my blog here

the mechwarrior collectable game is 10mm but some of the vehicles might scrape in as 15mm, especially if you have a little leeway on scale. They are commonly used in our gaming group with 15mm armies for Alien Squad Leader. These are from a blog called Master of None:

Looks like a great way to do ASQL on the cheap
getting duplicates is the key challenge. |

Duplicates is easy. Now getting them in the same paint scheme, that's tricky. MW had some larger tanks that could work in 15mm. They also had some stuff that was way too small (almost 6mm) so take care when selecting old WKG figures to re purpose. |

What's the name of the Red Army's centrepiece tank? The one just left of the two 'PO II'. |

Very few of the MW tanks scale well with 15mm. The bulby cockpited self propelled artillery above are one of the few. The Medical crawlers work pretty well also. However, the most of the medium-large Mechs will work well, especially if you consider the driver to be in the torso rather than the head. Olaf, Those armies look great! We've done a similar type of rebasing of MW figs for our games of FWC, Mech Attack and -starting next week- Pz8 Sci-FI. One of our clubmates decided to repaint his, but most of us had no problems finding a bunch of the same vehicle (Troll and Toad is pretty good for this) type in the same-or-similar paint schemes. For those interested in MW clix figs, "warrenborn" has an excellent page where you can see each faction and which figs were released in it. A great place to start before you go trying to find figs on T&T or somesuch. link |

@ Moqawama I believe the tank is an M1 Marksman. |
