This is an amazing project for a figure. "This is some kind of mutated, undead trench hound. I posted the silhouettes for it last time and spent some time working it up. I've been looking at pictures of dogs in gasmasks from WWI (who doesnt!?) and it just went from there. I see these guys breathing out plumes of yellow mustard gas as they stalk the battlefields. They're pretty big too. I should have put Scaleman (tm) in there

Like it a lot as a beast of battle. I'd think trenchers would be less spindly legged and bigger footed to be better suited to the tighter confines, multiple corners & smuddy bottoms to slog through, and not wanting my back ridge to stick up above the trench line. But I can imaging the crap-in-your-pants factor when coming up out of the trenches for a "charge" across no-man's land into the face of dug in shooters and seeing a few of these pets from Hades charging at you, gassing as they go. Now that requires an imagination that I'm glad I don't have |
