Angus Konstam, bon viveur, literateur, scholar and wit (also known as Bunter to his friends) has posted the following AAR on the Edinburgh wargames journal; if you are interested in the period its worth a look.

Wow, that's quite impressive and uses my favorite set of rules too! Doesn't get any better than that. grin I wonder if those cards are the same ones posted at the yahoo group?

Thanks,

John

Well yes and no John; the cards on Yahoo are mine but the cards in the photo (also mine) are a newer variant and are available from ARTSCOW for, I think, about $8 USD a pack; the ARTSCOW link is on the Piquet FOB 2 page. The downloadable cards would do fine but if you're using our house rules you'll need to make a Grand Battery card for the Austrians (cut and paste to paint and make your own).

Very impresive and incredibly detailed work – well done up in Scotland. Perhaps independence is no longer an option with work such as this? We want to keep you in the Union – I want to play on that table! 1866 is one of my periods.
