Some years ago a vendor at some of the HMGS East conventions carried a line of stylized models of ACW ships made out of hardwood. They were painted in vivid glosscoat paint if I recall. I can't remember if they were 15mm or 25mm.

Does anyone remember who this vendor was? My game group seems to be drifting toward 15mm ACW naval and I although I remember the ships being sold, I can't recall by whom.

Any help would be appreciated.

If we are talking about the same thing they were made out of wood in 15mm and came out in the mid 90's by a guy who lived in the Lancaster area. I have a number of them of which some I purchased painted and the newer one's were not. I do know you had to supply your own cannon and crew for them if you wanted to use crew figures. As far as who made them that I don't remember.
