Vive l'Empereur! I tried googling to see if all his horses had the brand, but didn't come up with any real mention of it other than obviously Le Viser was branded. |

I don't see the branding represented in any of the classic paintings of him on horseback either. I would probably only paint the brand if I was specifically trying to represent Le Vizer. He had numerous white/grey Arabians and would change horses several times a day so if it were me, I don't think I would paint the brand. |

I am with you there and decided not to give a horse a branding for the very same reasons. |
