Hi, I'm considering using some 25/28mm goblins as 15mm ogres and wondering if anyone has experience or suggestions. Any comment will be helpful. Thanks |

I did that for my 15mm ogres. I used some old Partha goblins I had laying around. Dont have any pics at the moment. Alternative Armies has some nice ones too. |

Take a look at the splintered light Dwarves….. They have two types… Standard 15mm ones and an 18-20mm variety that could easily work for 15mm civilized ogres. They are from the Splintered Land set. My son has them and they are pretty good. |

I found these to be very good. link I've added a bit of sculpting to add various bits of armour and different hair on a couple of them. You can see them on my 15mm fantasy blog:

splintered light also do a Grendel figure who is markedly bigger than the rest of their range. I've used him as a behemoth for an army, I recon he would make a pretty good ogre too. link (he is the guy in the back, and the perspective on that shot does not do him justice) |
