Hi all,

Just got our hands on our first miniature from Urban Mammoth, and have reviewed it with lots of pics and info at the following link:

Sample Image:

The detail is great, and the various parts should work well in conversions for Urban War or similar sci-fi wargames. Would be interested in seeing pics of painted Exosuits if you have them!

Thanks

This is very good range. Excellent actually both in proportion and in sculpt detail; though generally they rank small next to heroic 28's – but this is not always the case as the Viridian sculpts look ok (better in scale certainly actually) next to the ginormous GW Cadian plastic. Frankly, they deserve more credit than they get. The problem is finding someone who carries them, has in stock, and has an easy check-out, Paypal preferably.

As a counter to the smaller size, price point might be an issue.

I bought loads of these fellows a few years ago to go with a gang war game project. It ended up not going forward, but I have hung onto the minis for years – they are just so darn good. Amazingly clean sculpts with nearly no flash, high-quality metal, easy assembly, imaginative designs, among the best. Even the more outlandish Triads and Gladiators seem somehow believable. And the alien Koralon show some nice restraint in the sculpt compared to Tyranids which makes them a bit more realistic.

The new prices are pretty high. I'd search on eBay. There was one store but I can't remember the name. decent prices, nice website.

I finally have started to let some of them go, but not all – some are just too cool to sell.

Highly Recommended.
