Hi all

I have finally got my modular sci fi city project finished (though I'll probably keep adding bits).

Extcellent---kinda reminds me of the city on Miranda from Serenity. Where are the Reavers!!

MKGipson12 Aug 2012 7:11 a.m. PST

Okay, that qualifies as amazing!

Good show chap! Looks ready for some mayhem!

Mako1112 Aug 2012 8:14 a.m. PST

That looks really great!

I like the nice, modern, crisp clean look, and the wide sidewalks.

What did you use for the square, and/or rectangular building blocks for your city structures?

What is the round building made from?

I like the ability to actually see inside of it. That is a nice touch.

Looks very clean and pristine. Send some tanks down those pretty streets and blow some holes in the buildings!

Great work.

blacksoilbill12 Aug 2012 4:40 p.m. PST

Very impressive. What rules are you going to use them for?

SirFjodin12 Aug 2012 4:57 p.m. PST

Great job, mate!

Etranger12 Aug 2012 6:54 p.m. PST

Thanks guys

Mako: The square buildings are made from retail display boxes that I found at a car boot sale. I got the whole lot (and more that are not in the photos) for £5.00 GBP

I think they are the ones in this link: link

The round building is a craft tidy carousel thing like one of these – link – but a different make.

My mother in law gave it to me to keep my waraming bits and pieces in but I knew it was going to be a building the moment I saw it.

blacksoilbill, I'm going to be using the city for Gruntz and Tomorrow's War. The roads sections might even see some 28mm use.

It screams Infinity to me :>

Mako1113 Aug 2012 8:45 a.m. PST

Thanks for the info.

I appreciate it.

What a bargain!!!

endrju9413 Aug 2012 1:24 p.m. PST

Very nice! As you have seen already, I'm building a similar 15mm board right now – also inspired by Infinity: link

It looks like Harlington-Straker Studios have a new HQ. : )

Exceptionally well done!
