Hi, the Wargames Soldiers & Strategy, colonial themed edition 61 includes an ad on for saga allowing the ruleset to be played with zulu's and maori. Also pictures of some nice battleboards link Sounds interesting! |

Sounds interesting. In my experience it's very easy to come up with variants for Saga but very difficult to make them as balanced as (most of) the official lists. |

But with some playtesting you can have some nice colonial skirmishes, the odds weren't always even :) |

Thanks for pointing this out. I already ordered that issue just for the last stand at Maiwand cover article, but this Saga variant idea sounds interesting. Now I've got more to look forward to when the magazine arrives
