I've spent a bit of time putting together an OpenOffice spreadsheet that does army building for MA:F. Currently has classes/abilities from the main rule book and have tested it against some of the armies over at mightyarmies.com to check it works as expected. Tried to post it to my blog page for people to download, but that seems to have issues. 6sided.net apparently thinks spreadsheet files are a security risk. (I've asked a question in their support forum, but waiting to hear back). So, sorry to tease, but will let you all know when it's available. In the meantime, I may try adding some extras from Black Sea Pirates/Dark Elves to see if that doesn't break anything. |

OK, I managed to post spreadsheet as Excel format file over at link Feel free to give it a go, it's worked so far for units on the web site and Black Sea Pirates. Currently it doesn't have Dark Elves abilities added, but should get that done later this week and post a new version to the blog. |

FWIW, what the tool does is MA:F roster creation/tabulation, not "army building" – which is a term that didn't really exist before Lone Wolf Development began calling its software by that name. Note, Lone Wolf owns the trademark for ARMY BUILDER, lest there be any confusion. Better to use the generic term, unless you are talking about Lone Wolf's product, thanks! |

Version 3 is now posted (and renamed to avoid any confusion), which includes Dark Elf abilities. Also has my attempt at an Empire army from another game. Open Office and Excel version can be found at link |
