Looks like the Zombie Apocalypse is headed to a mailbox near you soon! All the folks at Cool Mini or Not are busting their humps to get truckloads of Zombies and hunters in the mail so the USPS can saturation bomb mailboxes across the country. The CMON crew is renting a Uhaul to take loads of games for shipping from their warehouse to the local USPS office. I'm sure the Postal Employees will be less than thrilled with the Zombie hordes, but considering their current budget struggles, they definitely need the business since the zombies in Congress can't seem to fix the problems. Hope all of you guys that back the project find a giant box on your door step very soon! Time to read over the rules and start planning a day to get some folks together to try and survive Zombicide. Great! Will be looking for mine the next couple of days. |

Can't WAIT to get mine! (my only regret was not opting to get "marvin") |

AJ, It may take a little while to get to us, even if we are both here in Georgia. Just depends on how fast they can work on getting shipments packed and to the USPS for shipping. The goal is to have all the Kickstarter sets shipped prior to Gencon, but they are going to have to work hard to get these shipped and get everything ready for the convention. Time for the CMON team to earn their pay. Jeff |

That is fantastic news. Since I splurged for a pained set (knowing I just don't have the time right now to paint my own) mine is going to take longer, but at least the process is moving along! Jake |

Wow Jake, I had no idea you got a painted set. My wife would have killed me if I had done that. :) Can't wait to see how your painted set turns out. The realy important news here is that folks can now see how a Kickstarter can run when it's well managed by a company that did the proper planning ahead of time. Between Zombicide and Sedition Wars, this should really make Cool Mini or Not look good for future Kickstarter projects. Jeff |

I passed on the KS campaign for Zombicide. I'm now somewhat regretting that decsion, but may pick up the game anyway (minus all the goodies). I'm interested to hear how the game plays though after all the KS backers get theirs. |

Getting the painted set was a BIG decision I didn't make lightly. I figured it would have sat unpainted for at least a couple years or I would have painted some of the characters and probably sent the zombies as I could to a painting service. This let me get it all at once (obviously not including the 'ship later' stuff which is in small enough quantities I can probably find time to do on my own
) |

I understand Jake. Since I do 15mm now, I see this simply as a boardgame and have no intentions of painting it. That way I do not feel quilty about it sitting on the shelf and not seeing any painting love. :) Jeff |

BigNick, I ordered a bunch of extras that I may put of for sale, if I do will let you know.
and I will still be waiting whether it's a couple of days or weeks for the mailman. |

Is CMON going to be at GenCon with these figures? |
JRacel | 06 Aug 2012 8:12 a.m. PST |
Patrick, They are working hard to get the Kickstarter games out so they can have games to sell at Gencon, but they do not want to sell games at Gencon if the Kickstrter backers have not been served first. Therefore the CMON team is working their asses off to get games shipped ASAP. CMON wants to make sure that their backers are the first to get their games since they understand very well the backlash that can occure if they sell games at Gencon before the Kickstarter backers have gotten theirs (or before they are at least shipped). It's all about doing the right thing by their customers. Jeff |

Wow, so it costs $100 USD for the game and an extra $1,400 USD to get it painted (with a couple of more things thrown in). I look forward to seeing the results. Now I have to get one and paint it for myself :-) This is what enterprise should be about. Motivated groups of people working together to delight us with amazing products. |
