Anyone know of any wargaming clubs near to Ludlow? My interests are mainly " horse and musket", including WSS, SYW and Napoleonics, but I also have armies based up for Warmaster Ancient and Medieval, 10mm Blitzkrieg Commander and DBA/ FoG. I am aware of clubs in Shrewsbury, Telford and the Wyre Forest group, but all of these are a 30 mile or so drive and I would like to find somewhere a bit closer. |

Dave, I think that you will be lucky to find a club nearer than the ones you know about. You might get some individual gamers though. But the Wyre Forest group have members out towards you (near Cleobury Mortimer) and sometimes play games out that way as well. Contact me at wyreforestgamers@yahoo.co.uk if you are interested. |

I'm one of a bunch of gamers from Cleobury, but we're not a club exactly, just a loose affiliation….one of my crew lives near Orleton….not a million miles away and he's a Warhammer Ancients fan… |

Good to know there are some other gamers not that far away. Original plan was to move to North Dorset/South Wiltshire where there are loads of clubs, but prefer the Shropshire countryside. |

I am sure you will find somewhere – drop me a line and I can help I think. It is certainly beautiful around this area and Ludlow is a nice place as well. I am biased but it is a lot better than Dorset/WILTS :) |
