Here's a mystery for you: One of our readers, who uses the Firefox browser, usually types 'th' into the navigator bar, and Firefox pops up with a list of suggested websites, with TMP leading the list. The list shows the name of the website, followed by the URL. What is mysterious is when he does this, the browser correctly shows the URL for TMP's homepage, but the name of our website is listed as "uncomfort"
(I've removed his identifying information from the image.) What could cause that? |

No idea. I have Firefox and that does not happen to me. Strange

Probably just needs to clear his cache
that kind of thing, along with site favicons (for instance) can get screwy sometimes

Bill, sometimes this happens if you have an old page bookmarked somewhere in one of your Firefox bookmark folders. As soon as you start to type the site's address, FF first checks your bookmarks for matches. So if the person had a thread bookmarked with "uncomfort" in the title of the post, that's what would show up. Incidentally, clearing the browser's cache wouldn't clear the problem up if it is an old bookmark somewhere in the user's Firefox bookmarks file. |

obviously, he is trying to open the napoleonics boards. |

Though Ravenscraft's theory has merits I believe Dante is spot on. A search for 'uncomf' in the bookmarks and removing it should do the trick. |
