Hey everybody, I am creating a line of collectible miniature fantasy castles suitable for tabletop rpg and wargaming. I have over 100 of them in the works; the first 12 are ready for production. Check out my kickstarter page to see more: link feedback is appreciated
pledges are appreciated even more! |

Those look really interesting. Can you add a gallery of the painted examples? |

Pretty nice – but someone has to say it – 12mm ? Not the biggest gaming scale in terms of popularity. |

I like the idea, but they are quite pricey. My suggestions would be, remove the limited edition premise (except for the hand painted ones) and sell them unpainted. If unpainted I'll happily put my money where my mouth is, but I am not prepared to drop $50 USD on a small resin tower. I'd need to see a proper gallery to, what do you define as what level? Painted and (preferably) unpainted examples as well. My wife and I both really like them, but not painted and not at that price. I really do want to see more of this, I was speaking with my wife (who has a minor obsession with fairies) about hand making her a variety of dioramas with fairy folk and castles and such, and these would be perfect. So right now, I can only grant you a thumbs up, I'd like to give you some money though. |

Hey thanks for feedback! It's true, 12mm is not the most popular scale for gaming, but I personally love that scale for rpg and wargaming because of the sense of space it provides, plus there is a huge collectibles market for 12mm scale castles & cottages & such ( David Winter cottages, Lilliput lane, American heritage collection, etc.)And, I gotta say the Hobbit castles we are working on are awesome! most of the Shiremeadow stuff is cottages, manor houses and party pavilions, but we have few that are full on castles which work nicely
the hobbits had the gnomes help build :) Here is a facebook gallery with most of the ones we have in production currently: link will post more as soon as the new molds are made. |
