Great table set up and models. Very entertaining Batrep. Where did you get all those buildings from? I look forward to the next installment.

Thanks for the praise.

The terrain, as stated in the blog, is makeshift and work in progress. The buildings are either made of cardboard from packaging (the intact square buildings) or self-made ceramic-pots (the round buildings) I manufactured when I was young. I simply turned them over and they suddenly make for a perfect building.

Clay/ceramic is quite cheap if you know the right sources. I obtained mine at a local pottery where I get 1kg for ~2€ – and one can make a lot of buildings from 1kg of clay ;) Most of the raw-material is still stored in the cellar. The buildings are heavier than the usual plastic/resin/cardboard/cork-buildings, but cost almost nothing. And they look right even without the final painting as clay is very similar to the adobe actually used to build those houses in reality.

By the way, I got new instructions from my player, so youŽll actually get an update soon ;)
