After all the time spent retouching the images in yesterday's post I decided why bother? Images look just fine and it saves time I can better waste on building the next game piece.

Only thought is a clear plastic rod. excelent job/plane |

Thanks Texas Jack, 14Bore. There are no clear rods involved. The mounting means and fully articulating 360 degree all axis device are hidden by the airframe. |

Excellent job on the painting. I am intrigued about how the rod is attached. If you could show with a close up that would be great! |

I am going with the hint that it is hidden by the airframe. For example if I have a metal object embedded into the airframe (Steel BB) for example inserted into a drilled hole on the centre line and then filled in so it is at the centre of the mass, it would attach to a strong magnet on the end of the rod (or vis a versa). You might risk the odd tiny scratch on your paint job but it would allow almost any permutation of attitude. |

The Hellcat is pure styrene, out of the box. No modification other than snipping the blades off the prop hub. Mounting hardware is totally exoskeletal (and non-sticky, I might add :-). |
