Been working slowly on this hairbrain idea of a Jutland-like encounter in 1944 – in a war were most losses in the real war have not taken place. Here's some ships I've been working on:

Hindenberg – scratchbuilt

Seydlitz – stock Airfix Prinz Eugen kit

Yorck – scratchbuilt with parts from Revell Bismarck kit

Vanguard – scratchbuilt with Superior turrets

M class cruisers – scratchbuilt

London – reworked Airfix Suffolk kit

Hood – reworked Airfix Hood kit with some Revell parts

Bismarck and Scharnhorst – Revell kits with wood hulls

Wow! Beautiful work you are truly talented!

A knock out drag out battle of the fleets sounds fun, but at 1/1200 scale you would have to have a huge table.

VERY nice work!
Virtualscratchbuilder, I'd be interested in seeing the list of ships on both sides – I think a lot of people would like to see a Jutland in 1944/5 – IMHO that's not hare-brained! ;-)
