Darn it, other cool stuff I didn't get to play. :) But a hat's of to Mr. Borg – he was very kind to my young son who was very excited to see what was going on. Might have to wait a while, but eventually we'll have another kid pushing lead! |

Mr Borg is heck of a nice guy met him at Kublacon in 2011 and he was great with tips and strategy but what impressed me most is when he was showing my girlfriend how to play Battlecry, she had no idea who he was,and she was wargaming! |

Yes DD he is a gent and his games have certainly widened the hobby, some would poo poo them for not being hardcore but for me his games are fun and playable and can and do bring people into the hobby

Gads, if every game at Historicon were "hardcore" I wouldn't want to show up, and I've been going there for almost 20 years now. There's a spectrum of games and gamers so something for everyone. The only games that I dismiss are ones where the GM doesn't do his/her best to make sure the players are having a good time playing in it. Whether that enjoyment's had through visual appeal, gameplay, or how well it simulates a battle is immaterial. |

I agree, Richard is a great guy. I've spoken with him many times as he frequents our HMGS South cons in Fl. (www.hmgs-south.com) He's always has a smile on his face and something positive to say. He's a great addition to any con and always runs bunches of games at each con. Cheers, Sgt. Guinness |
