I think you are right about needing to move the game faster, drawing two cards at once (one right after the other in case there's a conflict). This is not a serious game, and ought to be played fast, with much cursing your own bad luck, laughing at your friends' bad luck, and quaffing gin and whisky for medicinal purposes.

Is this the game that was given away in one of the wargames magazines? If it is my group play it every now and again, it's a fun game.
