I am re-branding a dozen Solido trucks from Iveco fire trucks into khaki coloured SAMIL 20s, and trying to think about how I should paint my Strykers and MRAPs too.

Do I paint them armour sand, khaki or a faded olive?

Are you gaming a specific time period and theater?

If so, many current Strykers are the olive green and MRAPs are tan.

Personally I went with tan for my Strykers as they will eventually be that color in my opinion.

Tan is what I keep thinking.
Even if they started out green the dust and dirt from Iraq or Afghanistan would turn them into dirty sand or khaki in no time.

Maybe green basecoat with heavy tan drybrush? Just so a hint of the original colour remains in the recesses.
