I am re-branding a dozen Solido trucks from Iveco fire trucks into khaki coloured SAMIL 20s, and trying to think about how I should paint my Strykers and MRAPs too. Do I paint them armour sand, khaki or a faded olive? |

Are you gaming a specific time period and theater? If so, many current Strykers are the olive green and MRAPs are tan. Personally I went with tan for my Strykers as they will eventually be that color in my opinion. |

Tan is what I keep thinking. Even if they started out green the dust and dirt from Iraq or Afghanistan would turn them into dirty sand or khaki in no time. |

Maybe green basecoat with heavy tan drybrush? Just so a hint of the original colour remains in the recesses. |
