Can anyone help me out with this guy's livery colours and standard? He's the chap buried on his horse after being killed at Towton. I am pretty sure they are blue and yellow with a red bull but I'd like to know which side of the livery jacket is which colour. It's possible to tell by looking at the swallow tailed standard, the colour on the top is usually the colour on the sword arm side of the livery jacket. Unfortunately to buy the flag sheet from Vexillia means I have to pay £4.00 GBP postage for a piece of paper, there's just no way I'm paying that much over the odds when it's the price of a second class stamp to get the sheet to me. Sorry if that sounds mean, I know companies are entitled to make a profit and I'm not having a swipe at Vexillia but there are limits. If anyone could point me in the direction of a flag download for this chap or any other northern border lords I'd be grateful. I'm looking to expand my Lancastrians, originally based on the army at Tewkesbury, to make them more flexible and give them more options. |

According to Freezywater's 'Standards, Badges and Livery Colours' Randolf, Lord Dacre of Gilsland field of the standard is described as four stripes in barry Or and azure. There is no picture though. |

Usually the first colour described is the top colour so my guess would be Yellow on the sword armed (right) side and Blue on the left. However, as its unusual being striped you could probably get away with that. |

That's very helpful, thank you. |
