Fantastic work as always, Burkhard. Love the vibrant colors – especially on the drummer. Best, Dean

Burkhard,
Great looking addition for your French troops.

Thank you all guys!

Really like the campaign look from the various uniform shades, to the mud and dust. The imperial livery on that drummer really pops in comparison to the weathered look on the rest.

Looking good, Burkhard! grin

Thank you guys!

@Ashenduke: I feel the same. The French drummers really stand out in their units and are a real visual focuspoint, which just adds to the unit as a whole.

Nice work Burkhard,
Your army is coming together fast.

Great to see French troops not wearing greatcoats!

Very nice job on the piping. That's the key to French infantry.

Bravo!

Sparker27 Jul 2012 8:23 p.m. PST

Outstanding Burkhardt, as always!

Thank you guys!

@Paul… Yes it seems to be going fast these days, but Imalso have a lot of free time on my hands.

@Widowson: I do not really like the mixed battalions you see a lot from the Perry boxes, so I put the greatcoated troops in their own battalions and do the same for the Bardin uniformed. The lack of variety shows with the Grenadiers and Voltiguers, but otherwise it goes fine.
