"Should TangoO1 be our TMP Roving Correspondent?" Topic

I think Tango01 should be officially recognized as "TMP's Roving Correspondent in Chief", since he finds so many great photos, and articles, and shares them with us.

Given the proclivity of his posts, perhaps an official title is in order, plus some small prize, in recognition of his continued service here on TMP, like a free extension of a supporting membership.

I AM TOTALLY OPPOSED TO ANY AND ALL POLLS ABOUT TMP MEMBERS. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT AN INVITATION TO PERSONAL ATTACKS.

I support the idea, but perhaps not a poll, due to the reasoning John mentioned.

I hadn't thought about that, and certainly don't want to subject Tango01 to any more negative feedback, since I enjoy his postings.

I would support either the designation by Bill, of Official TMP Correspondent, or Researcher, without the need for a Poll on the subject.

I suspect he can make a decent "executive decision" on the matter.

It is sad, that you cannot talk about anyone here on TMP for fear of someone saying something negative about them.

I prefer Tango01 to remain freelance.

I always enjoy Tango01's posts. I have seen things I would never in a million years have found without his postings.

But I am forced to agree with the OFM, we should not have polls about members. It invites abuse.

I agree with John, my man gets enough snide remarks.

I am quite comfortable to be personally nominated in a poll as to why I should be made Glorious Dictator and Supreme Arbiter of TMP.

But on the whole, I do not think members should be singled out for good or ill.

Let the good Tango keep posting (if he wants to) in peace.

Only if he doesn't mind traveling the world. If he wants to be a correspondent he needs to go from country to country.

Just leave him alone, he isn't doing TMP any harm and I expect a lot of people appreciate the extra hits on their blogs or shop pages.

He turns up some right little gems, so let him carry on! I can't see that he's doing any harm! Ok so he sometimes repeats things but hey if you arnt interested you don't have to read on! If he's happy doing what he's doing good on him.

I seem to recall asking for his own board, so I could find his stuff easier when I couldn't remember a title or board location.
This was in innocence and before last year's unpleasantness!
