A few pictures from the Tuyuti game I put on at Historicon:

True to form, all the players were ultra agressive, throwing themselves upone each other with Latin fury! Paraguay didn't win (they rarely do) but the Allies certainly got a bruising. A better performance by the Paraguayan cavalry wing might have made a huge difference (I have never seen so may 1's rolled for movement).

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Was just reading the chapter in "Weep Grey Bird, Weep" with the Battle of Tuyuti…very interesting stuff. I'd like to see some more 15mm & a 10mm range. Whatever happened to Obscure Miniatures? They started producing some 15mm Paraguyans but never followed up…

Looks great. Do you have a OOB file for the game?

Small, compact battle with the flavor of Latin American action tossed in. Viva la "……"
to cheer for both sides.

Ps. double posted?

Rabbit:

I can send you an OB. E-mail me at jhtcpa at verizon.net.

And Prince, I was wondering the same thing about Obscure Miniatures. Freicorps has a pretty complete line.

As the Argentine player in the game, I'm very fortunate that your brother rolled many ones! Really enjoyed the alligator talk we had. Your other brother saved my bacon when the Paraguayans were handling me pretty roughly. Thanks for the great game, John, and the book, too. I hope to see you at Historicon next year!

As for Obscure Miniatures, he has run into some unexpected problems (life) but is still going. He is going a bit slower that he anticipated, but is still open and operating. As I understand it he will be at Fall-In in November.

John I can't believe I missed it. I really planned to stop by and see the game, but the game I ran was a bit late, and then I went to get dinner after skipping lunch due to setting up my game straight from selling at the flea market. When I got back you were gone.

If you do run the game with Rich, I really want to participate. I live next town over from him, so if it is up here I will jump at the chance to give it a go.
