How would one lay siege to Cinderella's castle at Walt Disney World? One Marine answers the question. It's a Small War After All

Completly diregards the Tinkerbelle factor and includes no ADA or anti armour to support the infantry nor does it account for the Raping and pilaging normaly associated with Marine Infantry that would throw the time table off and lets face it there are some pretty hot chicks that inhabit DL
.No Tanks jeasus who planed this mickey mouse opp? |

The true winning part of that Marine's plan:
***Secondary Objective: While in Fantasyland we will have the opportunity to take down the menace of all parents everywhere. The "It's a Small World" ride will be within our reach. Our secondary objective is to eliminate the ride with extreme prejudice. This isn't a capture mission like the castle, but one of complete annihilation. Expect heavy casualties as their adorable repetitiveness burns into your skulls like white phosphorous in the jungle. Our sacrifices will be great, but our suffering is in the name of protecting others. Emphasis mine. |

LOL '' Remember that Disney now owns Marvel Comics. After you seize the castle, they may send The Avengers to retake it. Mickey Mouse I can handle; The Hulk is a different story.'' Nice they thought of everything.Great find thanks for linking it |

But I like that ride. The line moves quickly and there is air conditioning. While my children were otherwise engaged I rode the thing three times. |

What a completely excessive use of force! It can easily be done with 10% of the manpower suggested in the original article. All you need are 2 to 4 elite commandos to infiltrate the park in the wee hours of an August morning disabling all the air conditioning and refrigeration systems in the park. At 10 am, blow the water main and secure the vendor entrance preventing concession trucks from refilling the bottled water in the vending machines and food services. After the patrons and staff that survive the dehydration, heat exhaustion and stampeding mobs have fled, just waltz into the park with a small force of local ROTC volunteers. The park can be secured without any bloodshed by 3 pm. If the Avengers or the Hulk do brave a counterstrike, perhaps keeping Purple Man on retainer for mind control would be advisable. Implant the suggestion that a short ride on "It's a Small World" would be fun. Just keep the super-stooges on the ride indefinitely. Eventually it will sap all their powers and you can dispose of the bodies in the Typhoon Lagoon. |

An assault on Neuschwanstein would be much more tactically interesting. |

The original reply suggested a flanking assault through Tomorrowland. Up until recently that would have worked. Now that same attack would pass right in front of and under the watch of the new Belle's Castle. Not a good idea. You know how chicks like to stick together! And that saying: "Hell hath no fury
" RETREAT!!! |

You would never be able to take an army through the gate. At $92 USD a person, the army would be bankrupt before you even saw the castle!

Sound like something right out of Rainbow Six. Funny I was reading up on whether or not you can Conceal Carry at the Mouse House for such an event just yesterday. I am actually truly surprised it hasn't been tried yet. |
