Refreshed after his family holiday JBR has hit his blog with a new post regarding the design of the Astagar Volos Mech for us a Critical Mass Games. We are very excited about these unique looking walkers, and trust me when I say JBR has a lot more in the works for us. link Craig |

More wackiness and hilarity in the second part of the Astagar Volos Mech WIP series. link Oh, and a roughly-sculpted claw. Neat, eh? More at the blog post above.

Here's how that claw looks on the finished item.
At least I thought it was finished. Little did I (or Craig or Dale) know that what we thought was complete and ready to go to production, wasn't. More at the blog post. link Best, John Bear Ross |

I though the Volos was complete, and moved on to another project. It was a smaller Astagar power armor, and after it was done, I revisited the larger Volos Assault Mecha. The segmented body was ditched, and a long "stalk" torso was used in combination with posed and fused lower bodies. The result was stunning, in my not-so-humble opinion.
