I couldn't be an Historicon this year, but it appears that I have an official correspondent for my blog who has been feeding me pics and info this afternoon.

Nothing but positive reviews of the site/surroundings, although everyone that I've contacted would still be on the road if it was still held in PA. Awaiting Northern reaction this evening, but I don't think there will be much to complain about, except the obvious absence of my magificense.

Lovely Eric, especially the Wild Geese.

Thank you for sharing the photos.

A lot of people don't realise how menacing gnomes can be. Worrying to see they have gone airborne.

Nice pictures of another great Gnome game, Viscount. Thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to the next report from your Gnome War correspondent.

My correspondent may have been eaten by the Dealers Hall, but there is live streaming video of the gnome games via ustream.tv and wartv.tv

ustream.tv/channel/wartv-tv

Without commentary, it's as bad as watching paint dry. Actually the paint tutorials on wartv go a bit faster.

The feared hall volume has not manifested itself yet.

WarTV is OUTSTANDING! Gnome Wars with TV commercials.

Gnome Wars now has corporate sponsorship. (Just like the boys in Fight Club and you saw how well that worked out.) My Sat. afternoon will be spent watching the video tapes.

Go Team MBA!

The live feed comes back at 7pm. The guys currently fumbling through a 6th Edition 40K are not the con.

I wasn't able to attend as I just got back from vacation, but I just heard on the news that I-95 is at a stop in both directions south of Alexandria. I will be curious if that danged highway caught any attendees. I hope not. :-)

Just updated, a few "Wings of Gnome Wars" pics.

And the Saturday night game: link

I have a small pile of other pics to look over, as well as off-site analysis of the reports I was getting, plus some musings of watching a four hour online 40k on Saturday.

Guess it's time to start making preparations for a trip to Virginia next July.

Thanks for the pictures, Viscount.

The "Lord of the Gnomes" did look tired. I hope he had a safe (and swift) trip home. I look forward to his comments on the convention.
