I got the ones I ordered two days ago and I totally agree that he packed them well and they are very nice. When he comes out with more figure I definitely will order again. |

Thank you John and Joe for your kind comments. As much as I like to sell the figures, I take more satisfaction from the positive response that the customers have about the figures themselves. I agree, they really are fantastic works of art. BTW, our next batch of new figures will include Continentals wearing hunting shirts and tricorn hats. We will also release some sprues of heads to use for simple head swap conversions. Finally, the Amusette and crew will be released in this next batch. I anticipate that the production date will late September/early October of 2012. Jim |

Any chance of some more officers and/or a different horse or two for the mounted officers in the future? |
Der Alte Fritz | 19 Jul 2012 2:19 p.m. PST |
There will be a standing horse and a mounted officer in hunting shirt as part of the next batch of figures due in October. (I use some of the Minden Miniatures horses myself, as a fill-in until I can add more horses. The Alban Miniatures range of horses would also work with these figures). There will probably also be a "grazing" horse pose later in the year when we add dragoons. This will be standing, head down nibbling at the grass, loose reins while an officer sits atop smoking a stogie or writing a dispatch. Personality figures and some ADCs are also on the drawing board for next year. |

Love the Fife and Drum figs! Service was great and the "1776" deal drew me in. I was a 1/72 plastics guy for years and felt the move to war games from diorama meant a loss of proportion that had to be accepted: I think Perry and Fife and Drum are closing that gap. I was trying to focus on one project (Irish early 20th century) for economy purpose but the sale was the proper bait. |

Can I suggest some mounted civilians for use as militia and un-uniformed Continentals? |

Dave001776: I have sent you three paypal requests and you have never answered any of them. I've been trying to reach you because your order has been sitting on my table ready to ship. I just assumed that you were no longer interested in purchasing figures from me. If you still want to make the purchase, then email me at altefritz1740 (at) (yahoo) (dot) (com) and we can straighten things out. If I don't hear from you, then I will assume that you wish to cancel your order. Jim |

Hi Jim, nothing at this end !! |
Der Alte Fritz | 28 Jul 2012 11:38 a.m. PST |
OK, I'm guessing that the likely answer is that I typed the wrong e-mail address into the paypal request. I will send you an e-mail shortly to see if the address I have is correct. If that works, then I will submit a new PP request (and give you a free artillery crew and cannon to make up for the snafu on my part) if you still want to make the purchase. (blush, blush) Jim |

Update: OK, we got the snafu (probably mine) straightened out and the minis are on their way to the UK. Jim |
