So I guess the smaller barrels and smaller gun shields are for the airborne version? |

US502 was the US airborne 57mm ATG blister, which BF don't seem to make anymore.
The airborne version has a shorter barrel, a smaller gunshield on the barrel and doesn't use the front gunshield on the carriage. |

That was so it would fit into the gliders, as I recall. |
